Callachally House is a large farmhouse run as a B&B from April to end October, but certain weeks during that time it will be available to rent as a self catering unit sleeping 10.




Sitting in its own enclosed grounds of just under an acre, surrounded by mature trees, Callachally House is sheltered and private. On still summer nights you can just hear the murmur of waves. Sea Eagles are often seen from the sunny garden at the back of the house.
The house is situated on a working farm, with magnificent highland cattle and black faced sheep. The working sheepdogs are kennelled in the steadings (farm buildings) nearby, within earshot of the house.




Ground Floor
Porch, Sitting room with log fire, Kitchen Breakfast room, Sun Room, Laundry Room with Miele tumble dryer and washing machine, with drying rack. Dining room which seats 10 with an open fire place. There is a downstairs bathroom and a twin room, down their own corridor.
First Floor
On the first floor there are three double rooms and one twin room sharing two bathrooms, and up on the second floor, under the eves there is a very cosy television room, with Sky, DVD’s, videos and games.



The house is centrally heated, wood and coal are included, ( kindling can be bought at the spar shop in Salen ). There is a well equipped Kitchen with a La Canche dual fuel stove, with 2 ovens, one gas and the other an electric fan oven. a good extractor hood, a fridge freezer, food mixer, Miele dishwasher, a good selection of heavy duty pots and pans.
There is Broadband and an internet radio with blue tooth and iPod capability in the Kitchen. A barbecue and outside sitting area with garden furniture etc. The back garden is gated and separate from the front garden which is also gated.
